Fast day 2
That’s right folks today is the second day of our 21 day fast. Congratulations you have already made it past the first day. Whether you are fully fasting, just juice and water or you are limiting your food per the Daniel Fast guidelines today is the second day so congratulations! So the question we all are asking one another, How are you feeling?
Most of the answers are “I have a headache or I tired or maybe I’m freezing” whatever your answer it is likely because you are missing something your body is used to “caffeine.” In one sense we are going through withdrawals. It is important to know that Day two and three are the hardest, so know that brighter days are ahead. There are going to be challenges these 21 days, Satan does not like what we are doing … but the rewards, the Presence of God in your life is incredible. As was even experienced in our service yesterday.
Remember God’s Word is TRUTH and He rewards His People who humble themselves and Fast and Pray!
One thing we can consider today is a quote from Jentezen Franklin, “Too many Christians (Followers Believers, Just like You and Me) find that they are malnourished in the Word of God but well fed on the world, and they live defeated lives (Compromised lives) as a result.” Emphasis mine.
Part of the reason we have headaches and are tired is because we have been so well fed in the world, through these 21 days we are changing that source of food, energy to be the Most High God! Just like Matthew 4:4 says, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” So today focus not on the worldly bread that we are so used to or even the other things of the world that distract us from that deeper Relationship with Him, but focus on God and His Word. Preparing yourself to experience His power like never before.
Fearless 2010,
PJ

Day 3 already! WOW! Time fly’s when you are fully focused on God! I am one to say I have a headache and I am freezing, but it’s more then that. I am feeling great I am focused on God’s will for my life and I praying and seeing his guidance’s. I am turning away from all the world distracts (expect Work) and focusing on him alone! It’s great to be fasting!
