Fasting Day 10

It is my hope that by now you have a new energy about you. You’re beginning to feel better, the toxins are fleeing your body, and in fact some of us feel better than we have in years. With the increased energy with that extra spring in your step you should at this point be becoming more aware of the Lord’s presence all around you. You have a new hunger now, instead of the food, you hunger for His provision for His intercession for His attention in your life.

Look what the angel of the Lord told Daniel in Chapter 10 verse 12, ”… Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them..” Consider that from the FIRST DAY of Daniel’s fast, God heard him. Now think of yourself and your fast. From the FIRST day of your fast, God heard you. He knows the desires of your heart. For Daniel the only thing that held up the answers was a battle over Daniel’s hearing them. What about you today, are you in a battle over hearing the answers God has for your life?

Isaiah 30:21 says, “Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it.” It was during a fast that Paul received the call of God and his assignment for life. What will God reveal to your during your fast?

Remember continue to Pray, read the Word and be aware of His Presence. God gives direction for our life if we will simply listen.
