Upward Sports

Upwards is a Nationally Based sports and recreation ministry that offers every child the opportunity to play, compete fairly, and learn that each one is a Winner in the eyes of Christ. Upwards is available for ages K-5th Grade, and we are currently offering Soccer in the Spring as well as Flag Football and Cheerleading in the Fall.

Upwards is a seven-week season ending with a time of Celebration of the participants. The registration fee includes: Jersey, Shorts, and end of the year award. Registration is now open for Upwards Flag Football and Cheerleading.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
The early registration cost per child for flag football is $85 and has been extended through July.
The early registration cost per child for cheerleading is $95 and has been extended through July.
Flag Football shorts are included in the registration cost.
Cheerleading mock turtlenecks are included in the registration cost. If you are interested in becoming a coach, assistant coach, referee, devotion leader, or prayer partner, please contact the church office or Chris Dexter.

EVALUATIONS AND ORIENTATIONS:
Evaluations and orientations are being done on an individual basis.

LEAGUE SCHEDULE:
Practices begin the week of Monday, August 23, 2010.
First Game – Saturday, September 11, 2010
Awards Celebration – Saturday, November 6, 2010
Form and registration fee may be dropped off at The Ridge Church Office anytime between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
