Why?

The word Why is small, yet says a lot.  I wonder often times and especially in these tough times in our country and maybe even in our own lives right now how often we ask ourselves Why?  Why are people acting this way?  Why can’t I find a job?  Why can’t I ever get a break? Here’s the thing you MUST do … Change who you are listening too!  Remember the story in the Bible where Moses sent twelve men to scout out the promised land and ten came back with negative words, we can’t do it there are giants there we will never win.  And the people started muttering thinking all was hopeless. Oh no Why? We’ll never reach the promised land?  Yet Caleb said, Whoa hang on a minute I choose to Believe God for His Word, I don’t just believe in God I BELIEVE God.  This can be done. 

And the result, those with the negative thoughts never saw the promised land but Caleb did.  The question to ask yourself, who are you listening too?  Is it the voices that say Why?  Whoa is me?  or is it the ONE who says the Promised Land is right over here come on let’s go YOU can inhabit it?  Choose to BELIEVE so you too can see the Promised Land.
